Flight Numbers
4
Speed
How fast the disc must be thrown to fly as intended. Scale of 1–14. A speed 4 disc is forgiving and works well at moderate arm speeds.
4
Glide
How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.
-1
Turn
High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.
2
Fade
Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

The seasoned Zone flight, right out of the box. A straighter, more workable approach disc for players who love the Zone mold but want less fade and more control on tight lines.

Discraft on the Zone SS

The Zone SS takes everything players love about the original Zone and makes it more workable. Featuring a straighter flight and less fade, the Zone SS is designed for players who want Zone-like reliability with added glide and control. It excels on touch forehands, backhand approaches, and straight-flying drives where the standard Zone may be too overstable.

Weight

A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
