Firebird

Flight Numbers
9
Speed
How fast the disc must be thrown to fly as intended. Scale of 1–14. A speed 9.0 disc is forgiving and works well at moderate arm speeds.
3
Glide
How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.
0
Turn
High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.
4
Fade
Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

Innova on the Firebird

The Firebird is an overstable distance driver which works extremely well into a headwind. It is our most popular upwind distance driver. The Firebird's combination of superior speed and stability make it possible to throw drives into the wind with confidence. An excellent disc for throwing long range flex shots. A favorite of sidearm and overhead throwers, too.

Nate Sexton Tour Series — Known affectionately as the "Sexybird," Nate Sexton's signature Firebird runs are some of the most sought-after Tour Series discs in the game. Produced in a softer, flatter plastic with a touch less fade than a stock Firebird, Sexybirds are more than a utility disc — they're fairway workhorses you can lean on for both backhand and forehand play. A portion of each sale supports Nate Sexton and his touring efforts.

A high-end plastic reserved for Tour Series releases. Innova's newest and brightest glow material applied to Champion plastic — glows brighter and lasts longer than previous glow plastics while keeping the grip and durability Champion is known for.
Weight
Show every weight. Use this to reset the weight filter. Lighter discs are easier to throw far with less arm speed. Great for younger players or windy conditions. Mid-range weights suit most players. A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
