Speed

How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.

High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.

Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

Latitude 64 on the Amber

Amber started with a vision of combining features from two popular Latitude 64 discs; the speed of the Grace paired with the understability and glide of the Diamond. The result is a speed 11 distance driver which does not require max power to fly far. Compared to the Sapphire, the Amber has a slightly wider rim (21 mm) and more understable flight. If your throwing power is in the 60–90 m range, the Amber will be a great choice for achieving speedy distance. The Amber belongs to the Easy-to-Use Line, meaning it will always be available in lower weights. Its target weight is 160–164 grams, but it can be manufactured both lighter and heavier.

Weight
Show every weight. Use this to reset the weight filter. Lighter discs are easier to throw far with less arm speed. Great for younger players or windy conditions. Mid-range weights suit most players. A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
