Flight Numbers
9
Speed
How fast the disc must be thrown to fly as intended. Scale of 1–14. A speed 9.0 disc is forgiving and works well at moderate arm speeds.
5
Glide
How long the disc stays in the air. Scale of 1–7. Higher glide means more distance potential, but less control in wind.
-1
Turn
High-speed tendency to veer right (for right-hand backhand). Scale of +1 to −5. Negative values mean the disc turns right at speed.
2
Fade
Low-speed finish to the left (for right-hand backhand). Scale of 0–5. Lower fade means a gentler, more predictable finish.

Prodigy Disc on the FX-3

The FX-3 is a fast, stable fairway driver. It has a slightly wider rim than traditional fairway discs, which couples with a noticeable glide to push an extra step further. Its stable flight out of the hand gives players at different levels and arm speeds to execute different shot shapes. It will hold its angle for a long period before having a reliable finish on the end.

Plastic
Show every plastic type. Use this to reset the plastic filter. Prodigy's most popular plastic — premium durability, impeccable grip even in wet conditions, and a stiff rim with a satisfying pop. Often translucent with vivid colors in sunlight. A premium plastic with a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 — confident grip on the flight plate, a solid rim, and a distinctive pearlescent finish unlike anything else in the Prodigy lineup.
Weight
Show every weight. Use this to reset the weight filter. Lighter discs are easier to throw far with less arm speed. Great for younger players or windy conditions. Mid-range weights suit most players. A good balance of control and distance for average arm speeds. Heavier discs are more wind-resistant and hold their line better at high arm speeds. Preferred by experienced players.
